Nalumansi, an 11 year old school girl from Kasokoso lives with both her parents in a muzigo.

Nalumansi did not sit for 2 of her final exams last term. She was afraid she would be made fun of again for staining her school skirt because the old piece of cloth she uses while on her period cannot fully protect her.

There are many Nalumansis out there.
1 out 4 girls in Uganda even drop out of school completely because of lack of sanitary pads.

But we can’t let this keep happening.Yet, UGX 20,000 is enough to provide one girl with sanitary pads for an entire year, helping her stay in school with dignity.
